1.How to Book a Tour

Booking a tour with us is straightforward:

● Browse our website to find the perfect tour for you.

● if you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

● Found a tour that suits your interests? You can book directly from the tour page or you can send Us an E-mail.

●For customized experiences, fill out the form on our Plan Your Trip page with your preferences such as special interests, destinations, hotel levels, trip duration, departure date, etc. Our travel specialists will get back to you within 24 hours with an itinerary tailored just for you. If you Need further adjustments? Just reach out again.

 

2. Cancellation Policy

We understand unforeseen circumstances may require cancellation:

●If canceled 11-30 days before departure, a charge of 20% of the total cost plus cancellation fees for airfare or train tickets applies.

● If canceled within 1-10 days of departure, a charge of 30% of the total cost plus cancellation fees applies.

●No refunds are provided for cancellations after the departure date or for unused portions of a trip already in progress.

 

3. How to Pay for the Tour

Payment methods include:

●International bank transfer

●Domestic bank transfer

●Payment via We-chat or Ali-pay 

●The balance can be paid in cash upon arrival at your first destination.

 

4. Tour Itinerary

If unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters, epidemics, or government regulations) force us to change or cancel your tour, we will discuss alternative arrangements with you.

 

● Before the tour starts, we'll inform you and discuss changes. If you choose to cancel because of this, we refund the full amount except penalties for flights, trains, and hotels.

● During the tour, we'll work with you to make suitable replacements without compensation or refunds, but we aim to minimize any loss or damage.

 

5. Itinerary Changes

● Changes before confirming the tour are free.

●After confirmation, each request incurs a $20 USD fee plus any additional costs for flights, trains, and hotels.

 

6. Health Requirements

Ensure you are aware of health risks and requirements for your destinations. Consult your doctor if traveling to high-altitude areas like Pamir Plateau in Xinjiang.

 

 7. Insurance

Our tours include China Travel Agency Liability Insurance. However, we strongly recommend purchasing full-coverage travel and cancellation/interruption insurance from your country before departure.

 

 8. Flight and Train Tickets Booking

We can assist with booking flights and train tickets when you book a tour with us. Provide passport copies in advance. Note that seats are limited, so book at least two months ahead, especially during holidays.

 

 9. Visa and Permit Support

When booking with us, we provide a Letter of Invitation and other necessary documents for your Chinese visa application. Special permits for certain areas in Xinjiang will also be arranged upon tour confirmation.

 

10. Other Remarks

Xinjiang Highlights is not responsible for any losses, injuries, or damages occurring outside of our normal service programs.
